Do You Need Network Marketing Techniques That Really Work?
Do not use the network marketing techniques your up line has been teaching you. You know, the 3 foot rule, hanging fliers, bugging your family and friends, and holding hotel meetings. They did not create a group of 10,000 people searching parking lots for empty cars to stick fliers on! How embarrassing. Have you done this? Don’t you just cringe when you walk up to a car, pull up the wiper blade and BAM, someone is behind the wheel! I would love to know who started that one.
The first week of my network marketing venture, I was given some very old techniques to work with. I was instructed to list everyone I have every know and contact them all to see who wanted to make money. When I was finished there was not one person who wanted to talk to me again.
If I did find a person to speak with they asked things I had no idea how to answer. My frustration mounted.
Faced with nobody left to approach, since everyone who knew me was now running the other way, my up line said the best thing to do was to purchase leads from them for $5.00 each. I sent emails that went undelivered. I made phone calls to more numbers that were no longer in service. If I got someone on the phone they were hostile and cold. I thought these were supposed to be leads. All this left me feeling more rejected and incompetent. I have to admit my self esteem was taking a nose dive.
After investing much of my time and money, I began to feel like I did not have either left. I began to think my sanity was going also. I worked so hard and ended up with nothing.
I was about to throw in the towel when I figured there had to be a smarter way to work. I was on a quest to find the answer to the lead generation mystery. I found the safety net I so desperately needed as I was falling fast and this was the only safe bet!
